Beaver Scouts are 6 and 7 year old boys and girls who like having fun and making friends.
Beaver Scouts usually meet once a week in a 'Colony' which is run by a trained adult Beaver Scout Leader and Assistant Beaver Scout Leader or helpers.
Beaver Scout activities are a combination of learning and having fun, whether by simple crafts, visits to fun parks or the zoo or learning about important issues such as road safety.
Beaver Scouting is also about caring and sharing. They often help their local community in various ways.
After a few weeks of going to Colony meetings, a new Beaver Scout will make their First Promise, thereby joining the Beaver Scout Section.

GLNE Scouts are launching a final intiative to reach our target of £5000 in order to sponsor a Guide Dog.
We are already close to our target thanks to the hard work and kindness of Scouts across the County.
Please help us to achieve our aim by taking part in Guide Dog November

There is a private area of the Beaver website only accessible to those with the correct username and password.
If you are involved in the Beaver section and wish to access this area please speak to your ADC Beavers, ACC Beavers or email the website team with your Scouting details.
You will then be provided with instructions on how to access the private area which contains information on upcoming events, minutes and details on how to download and register a GLNE version of Swissperfect, the tournament management software system.
